EU-CONEXUS is excited to announce its third call for student projects, focusing on the themes of language, health, and history. This initiative invites students from partner universities to collaborate on projects that explore the significance of coastal areas through these interdisciplinary perspectives. The programme encourages students to contribute to academic, social, and professional development while fostering inclusivity.

Projects should align with one of two categories: the dissemination of Smart Urban Coastal Sustainability (SmUCS) topics or the strengthening of the EU-CONEXUS student community. Suggested themes include languages & communication in coastal sustainability, history of coastal development & sustainability, and health & well-being in coastal areas.

This initiative offers students the opportunity to collaborate with peers from different countries, develop innovative ideas, and secure funding to bring their projects to life. Whether exploring the impact of tourism on local cultures, the effects of coastal pollution on public health, or historical insights into sustainable urban development, students can take a creative and interdisciplinary approach.

Students and student organisations from EU-CONEXUS universities are eligible to apply, with teams required to include members from at least three different partner institutions. A total budget of €30,000 is available, with individual projects eligible for up to €10,000 in funding.

Application Details:

  • Eligibility: Open to all students and student associations/organisations from EU-CONEXUS universities.
  • Each project team must include students from at least three different EU-CONEXUS universities.
  • Funding: A maximum budget of €30,000 is allocated for this call, with individual projects eligible for up to €10,000 in funding.
